Welcome to the Columbia Democratic Club homepage. Whether you are an active long-time Democrat or someone new to the political scene looking to connect with other like-minded progressive folks, you’ve come to the right place! Here at the CDC, we are dedicated to the election of Democratic candidates and the advancement of progressive ideas. The club meets monthly for updates and discussion. We support a range of political actions here in Howard County in partnership with other political groups, including weekly protests. In addition, we hold regular town-hall style meetings with elected officials and policymakers. In election years we hold candidate forums and endorse candidates. Club members are also active in activities like voter registration, postcard campaigns, and door knocking.

At the CDC, we believe in the “Big Tent” vision of the Democratic Party. We come from many walks of life and hold many different opinions.
